Tamryn Paulsen

Tamryn is a passionate Occupational Therapist dedicated to encouraging children to dream big and believe in their abilities. Tamryn is a compassionate and energetic paediatric OT, who has a playful nature and a drive for meticulous work standard. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2014, and has since completed her Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (WITS).

Tamryn has a special interest in Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), attention difficulties, scholastic performance, sensory integration, early development and social-play skills development. Her approach is child centered and family focused. Her post graduate training includes Ayres Sensory Integration (ASI), Therapeutic Listening Trained, Diploma in Child Psychology, practice management, and is Basic Life Support Trained. She is currently completing her Neurodevelopmental Therapy accreditation (NDT) through SANDTA, as well as becoming a DIR Floortime clinician through Profectum.

Tamryn is the practice owner of Innova OT, which she founded in 2017. Innova OT has grown to seven practices in Gauteng. In addition, Tamryn is the Director of Situla Midrand Campus, a Tutor and Therapy Centre for children with language and developmental delays. 

Tamryn, affectionately known as Tam or Tammy, is also a wife and mum to her two children. When she has free time, she enjoys running, cooking, hiking and spending quality time with her family.
