JANE BAKER

Jane is a highly experienced Occupational Therapist with a strong foundation in hand therapy, neurology in adults and paediatrics and lymphoedema management. She holds a BSc in Occupational Therapy from the University of the Witwatersrand (2009) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Hand Therapy from the University of Pretoria (2015).

Jane is passionate about hand rehabilitation in both adults and the paediatric population, which is a central focus of her work. She is a certified lymphoedema therapist and has completed further training in Neurodevelopmental Therapy (NDT) for adults and paediatrics. She is also currently in the process of training in Aires Sensory Integration.

She is committed to lifelong learning and to delivering therapy that is collaborative, empowering, and evidence based. Her approach is holistic and patient-centred, ensuring that patients receive tailored intervention aimed at achieving meaningful functional outcomes.

She works closely within a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with general practitioners, orthopaedic and plastic surgeons, neurologists, as well as case managers and attorneys to ensure coordinated, comprehensive patient care.
